fishing the lake this Sunday gone was great As I've always said come this time of year this place will show some big carp. I had a number of 8 to 12lb fish out followed by 3 at over 15 but under 20 and one at 23 yes that's right 23. In the past I've had fish up to 28 I know what your thinking but having fished this place for years I can put hand on heart and say there in there its just a case of how to get them out. Now for me forget you boilies for get your fancy baits for me its trout pellet ever time . I go for a 10m on the hair with a good hand full of 6m over the top keep it in close no need to ping right out. Ever 10 to 15 mins ping a few more 6m out over the top it will pay off trust me Pegs to fish well I've got my fav but that's for me to know But most will show a good bag or two I find late in the day will show a good fish or two And keep you tackle light no need for the big carp gear I use 10lb main line to a 7lb hook length with a size 10 /12/or 14 hook with hair I always use a small weight no need for lumps hook length for me no more then 4in The rod 2lb test A great place to fish with some big fish I know I've had them

We fish there with day tickets. The prices have gone up from what it says above. It is now £8 day or £12 night. Night fishing is by appointment only.

The Live4 mission

We want this to be the most comprehensive directory of UK fishing locations. We are trying to get every UK Fishery and fishing spot on here, as well as all the best freshwater and sea fishing locations – but we will need help. We currently have nearly 6,000 UK freshwater angling spots listed.

If you know of a fishery or free angling location that is not listed here, please drop us a line with the contact page.

If you are a fishery owner and you would like us to add more information to your listing, just do the same and we will get back to you to sort things out.

Welcome to our new Site

Welcome to our new Live4fishing site. We’ve spent a long-time re-building it to better serve our users and we’ve got some really exciting developments coming along soon too.

We’re still passionate about fishing and our goal has been to make it easier than ever to find the best places to fish in the UK and get the latest and most useful information about them.

We have made considerable changes to the look and feel of the website, but our key goal here is to make it easier to see locations and fishery details across all devices. We have many other developments in the pipeline, including an App, as well as social media integration so you can use live4fishing inside Facebook. So we want to encourage you to comment, review and add photos so we can all get the best information we can.

Now we have phase one up and running, we will also be dedicated to answering questions on fisheries, and making sure peoples comments and updates are smooth and quick to make sure we have all the latest information on competitions, lakes and contact details for fisheries.

If you are a fishery owner and you’re not listed on here, your details are wrong, or if you would just like to add information about future events, then please do shout. Also, if you’ve got any more ideas of what we can do then please do help.
